How do I print from my own laptop?

Answer

Access your My Print Center account

  1. Go to the website: sacprintcenter.sac.edu
  2. Log-in with your WebAdvisor ID (username) and password. If you need assistance with your WebAdvisor ID, visit the What’s My Password and What’s My User ID/WebAdvisor ID page

Sacprintcenter.sac.edu homepage with Webadvisor login box.

Upload Your Documents

Once logged in, click on the "Upload" tab to upload documents you would like to print. You can upload documents in the following formats:

  • Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx,
  • Excel (.xls and .xlsx)
  • PowerPoint (.PPT and .PPTX)
  • Text (.csv, .rtf, and .txt.
  • PDF (.pdf)
  • Images (.jpg, .png, tiff, .gif, & .bmp)
  • Visio (.vsd , .vss , .vst , .vdx , .vsx , .vtx , .vsdx , .vssx , .vstx , .vsdm , .vssm , .vstm , .vsw , .vsl)

After uploading your file, you are now able to retrieve your document from any printer inside the library or at the student centers with printers.

Swipe Student ID

To retrieve your documents, you will need to swipe your student ID card at the printer station inside the library.

You can get your student ID for free at the Student Business Office.  This is highly encouraged for printing because if you forget your student ID card, you will need to enter your WebAdvisor ID (username and password) directly on the printer's keypad. Please refer to the library's Printing Policies and "How do I print?" FAQ for information on printing costs.

Contact the Library

For assistance with printing, visit the librarian at the Reference Desk.
