How do I print from my mobile device?
Answer
Access your My Print Center account
RSCCD students, faculty and staff can print from mobile devices by going to sacprintcenter.sac.edu
Log-in using your self service credentials.
Follow the step-by-step directions below:
Upload your documents
After logging-in, the main SAC Print Center Dashboard will appear and you may upload your file(s), image(s), or document(s) to the dashboard by clicking on "Upload."
Next, select "Choose File" to upload files from your device. You can also use the "Photo Library" option to upload photos. Only the following file format types can be "uploaded" to your My Print Center job list.
- Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls and .xlsx), and PowerPoint (.ppt and .pptx)
- Text (.csv, .rtf, and .txt)
- PDF (.pdf)
- Images (.jpg, .png, tiff, .gif, & .bmp)
- Visio (.vsd , .vss , .vst , .vdx , .vsx , .vtx , .vsdx , .vssx , .vstx , .vsdm , .vssm , .vstm , .vsw , .vsl)
Once you upload a file from your Personal Library, it will appear on your dashboard. You can see a list of the files you chose to upload as shown below.
If you need to adjust the print settings such as double-sided printing, number of copies, you may do so by clicking the box to the left of that file. This will allow you to make changes.
After uploading your file, you are now able to retrieve your document from any printer inside the library or at the student centers with printers.
Swipe Student ID
To retrieve your documents, you will need to swipe your student ID card at the printer station inside the library.
You can get your student ID for free at the Student Business Office. This is highly encouraged for printing because if you forget your student ID card, you will need to enter your WebAdvisor ID (username and password) directly on the printer's keypad and this way takes longer. Please refer to the library's Printing Policies and "How do I print?" FAQ for information on printing costs.
Contact the Library
For assistance with printing, visit the librarian at the front desk of the library or at the technology desk near the computers.
