Can librarians help create research guides for a specific course?

Answer

Nealley Library librarians support student research by creating course-specific online research guides, and by sharing subject guides designed to get students started with their research within a specific subject/discipline.

Library course guides

A course guide provides an introduction to using library research tools such as the library catalog, databases, and citations.  Please review the FDM 103-Fashion Selection course guide for an example of this type of guide.

Library subject guides

Subject guides are broader and can help students locate books on their topic and direct students to useful databases for their research in a particular discipline.  Please see the Art Research Guide for an example of this type of guide.

Contact the library

Please contact your library liaison if you would like to request a course specific research guide or more information about our subject guides.
