How can (adjunct or full-time) faculty check-out library materials?

Answer

RSCCD staff, faculty, and administrators must present a photo ID card to check-out library materials.

Exceptions can be made if the person is known by library staff to be an employee of RSCCD. In this case, current employment will be verified in Colleague. Our library management system (Alma) automatically generates a library record for staff, faculty and administrators. 


An administrator or faculty member’s assistant may check out materials with appropriate verification (email or written note). A Library Technician may contact the administrator or faculty member if no verification is provided. Then, the item will be checked out to the administrator or faculty member’s account.
