Do I need a SAC student ID to access library services?

Answer

While you do not need a SAC Student ID to visit Nealley Library, there are several library services that can be made easier with your SAC Student ID card:

  • Borrowing books: In order to borrow library books, you will need your SAC student ID card OR your student ID number and a government-issued photo ID (such as a California Driver's License or passport).  We do not accept photos/copies of IDs.
  • Printing or photocopying: Student ID cards or guest cards enable you to add funds using cash.  Without a Student ID card or Guest Print Card, you will be limited to adding funds to your print account online using credit or debit (this has a $5 minimum purchase required).
  • Appointments: Student ID numbers are required to make appointments for group study rooms.

For additional assistance

Contact Nealley Library's Reference Desk at (714) 564-6708 to speak to a librarian or you can chat with a librarian 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
