Where I can practice for a presentation inside the library?

Answer

One of the library's group study rooms is available for individual presentation practice, study, or Zoom sessions in L-107.

  • You can reserve this room for individual or group practice.
  • You can project your slides and practice in a reserved space.
  • The maximum time for presentation room appointments is up to 90 minutes.
  • Individuals or groups can only make one presentation room reservation per day.

Please have your student ID number and student email address ready in order to reserve a presentation space

After making your appointment, please check-in with a librarian at the Reference Desk and we will let you into the room.

Public Safety Information for Visiting the Library

While appointments are no longer necessary for using most library services, we recommend the following due to the unique conditions of the library space:

  • It is strongly encouraged that you wear a mask while inside the library.
  • Social distancing of at least 6-feet is encouraged. Please be aware of the people around you.
  • Anyone experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms should not come to the library, even with an appointment. Those symptoms include one or more of the following: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever of greater than 100 degrees, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, and/or loss of taste or smell.
  • Please review the Community User Policy page if you are not currently enrolled as a student or employed by the Rancho Santiago Community College District and wish to access library services.
