How do I know which database to use?

Answer

Visit the Nealley Library A-Z list of all databases to find a list of databases in alphabetical order. This list can help you decide which database is relevant to your research inquiry because it includes a brief summary of each database's subject, format types, and in some cases time period.  You can also filter the databases by:

  • Subject (Examples: Business, Fashion Design, Social Science)
  • Database type: Ebooks, Newspapers, or Primary Sources

Off-campus database access

When you click on a database while you are off-campus, you will be asked for your WebAdvisor username and password for access.  You can get remote technical help if you forgot your WebAdvisor ID or password.

Contact the Library

For help with any of the steps above, you can chat with a librarian and make a research appointment to work with a librarian one-on-one.
