How do I read an ebook in EBSCO Ebooks?

EBSCO Electronic Books is an example of a database where you can view and download e-books.
To go directly to the EBSCO E-books database:

Click on the "Find Articles and e-books" link under the Research menu on the SAC Library homepage.

Next, you can either scroll down to the "E" section, or use the Database Types filter to display our three Ebook databases: EBSCO Ebooks, GALE Ebooks, and Oxford Handbooks Online (Oxford University Press).
Viewing and Downloading Ebook Content
Once you search for and select a book, you will have the option of viewing and download it as a PDF Full-Text or PUB Format. Please note that due to copyright restrictions, there are limits to how much of an ebook you can download.
- The ebook shown in the image below can be viewed and download in either PDF or PUB format.
- Some ebooks are only available in a PDF format. The textbook shown in the image below is only available in PDF format.
- To view specific chapters within the book, select "Table of Contents".
- When viewing the PDF or PUB version of an ebook, you can use the "Search within" function acts as an index to help you find specific pages within the book where terms or concepts of interest are located, as shown below.
